“兴趣是最好的老师”；这句话不知道听了多少遍，但确实也是值得一次又一次强调的道理。也许有同学质疑：“我英语又不好，你让我怎么热爱呢？”，诚然，当你在一门学科上屡屡受挫，你难免会有一种我不擅长这门学科的错觉，就对这门学科越发没了兴趣，投入的热情也随之减少，于是在下一次考试中难免又惨遭厄运。于是你对这门学科的热爱在消极的恶性循环中消逝到苟延残喘。但请回忆起，当你第一次接触到英语这门学科时，当你第一次学会说：“I a fine，thankyou。 and you？I a fine，too”时，好奇与欣喜洋溢起整个幼嫩的心，热爱从那个时候起油然而生。因此不要怀疑你对英语的热爱，请勿忘初心。你只需给自己一个重拾热爱的机会，给自己一个热情奋斗的机会，给自己一个相信自己能学好英语的信念，结果一定是美好的。
当有了热爱作为前进的`动力，积累便是铺设起学习长路的一块块地砖。不论学哪一门学科，积累都是必不可少的过程，“故不积跬步，无以至千里；不积小流，无以成江海。”，在英语学习的漫漫长路上，积累的必要性更是不容小觑。我认为的积累，不仅仅是抱着一本厚厚的词汇书从A到Z的埋头苦背，而是一个渗透在生活中的事情。可能很多同学都听说过跟美剧、电影学英语的办法，但在学业如此紧张的高中生活中，这种方法显得有些站着说话不腰疼。所以积累的过程可以就从等车时公交站台广告牌的标语，上学放学车上电台里的英文歌，小心地滑的警示牌里，用发现的眼光汲取一点一点零碎的知识，不断铸就属于自己的知识网架。请不要自以为是地嘲笑那些在路上驻足在一个单词前的人们，不要嘲笑食堂排队时试图翻译出食堂菜名的人们，不要嘲笑努力纠正标语翻译错误的人们，积累就是从此刻拉开了你们的距离。；
学习英语的目标永远不是应付你眼前的大大小小的考试，也更不会随着高考的结束而终止。我认为学习英语想要达到的理想状态理应是应用。应用是把你所学习的看似没有生命的零碎知识点真正激活，成为你未来生活工作的工具。应用可以是渺小到给外国游客指路，给工作的文献做翻译，也可以伟大到推动国家的外交事业。当你选择学习英语是为了未来的应用，是为了肩负起“苟利国家生死以，岂因祸福避趋之”的责任，那你的英语学习将会变得广博而无穷。学习不只是那些你以为是考点的词汇、语法，更是那些看似考不到，没有用的东西，英语能力的综合提升反而会在考试中送你最好的回报。

Speak without Fear
The biggest problem most people face in learning a new language is their own fear. They worry that they won’t say things correctly or that they will look stupid so they don’t talk at all. Don’t do this. The fastest way to learn anything is to do it – again and again until you get it right. Like anything, learning English requires practice. Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.
Use all of your Resources
Even if you study English at a language school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the language learner it's perfect.
Surround Yourself with English
The absolute best way to learn English is to surround yourself with it. Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television. Speak English with your friends whenever you can. The more English material that you have around you, the faster you will learn and the more likely it is that you will begin “thinking in English.” .
Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible
There are some good English teachers that have had to learn English as a second language before they could teach it. However, there are several reasons why many of the best schools prefer to hire native English speakers. One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate. The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become.
Watch English Films and Television
This is not only a fun way to learn but it is also very effective. By watching English films (especially those with English subtitles) you can e_pand your vocabulary and hear the flow of speech from the actors. If you listen to the news you can also hear different accents.
Listen to English Music
Music can be a very effective method of learning English. In fact, it is often used as a way of improving comprehension. The best way to learn though, is to get the lyrics (words) to the songs you are listening to and try to read them as the artist sings. There are several good internet sites where one can find the words for most songs. This way you can practice your listening and reading at the same time. And if you like to sing, fine.
Study As Often As Possible!
Only by studying things like grammar and vocabulary and doing e_ercises, can you really improve your knowledge of any language.
Do E_ercises and Take Tests
Many people think that e_ercises and tests aren't much fun. However, by completing e_ercises and taking tests you can really improve your English. One of the best reasons for doing lots of e_ercises and tests is that they give you a benchmark to compare your future results with. Often, it is by comparing your score on a test you took yesterday with one you took a month or si_ months ago that you realize just how much you have learned. If you never test yourself, you will never know how much you are progressing. Start now by doing some of the many e_ercises and tests on this site, and return in a few days to see what you've learned. Keep doing this and you really will make some progress with English.
Record Yourself
Nobody likes to hear their own voice on tape but like tests, it is good to compare your tapes from time to time. You may be so impressed with the progress you are making that you may not mind the sound of your voice as much.
Listen to English
By this, we mean, speak on the phone or listen to radio broadcasts, audiobooks or CDs in English. This is different than watching the television or films because you can’t see the person that is speaking to you. Many learners of English say that speaking on the phone is one of the most difficult things that they do and the only way to improve is to practice.

1、单词、课文是英语最基础的部分，每个同学都需要能够熟练的背诵，背，并不是一个一个字母硬塞入脑袋里，有时一个单词是由几个单词组成的，我比较推荐用音标来记单词，通过每个单词的音标音节就可以理解快速的背单词、课文，并且只要你记得这个单词，即使忘了，再给音标一样能写出单词，所以背单词、课文，只要理解有方法。有时强记也是需要的，那时背单词、课文对你来说再也不是一件头疼的事。
2、每天坚持听磁带是锻炼听力的最有效的方法。一般的英语试卷，听力占20%，是很大的'分数，所以想考高分的话，听力必须保证满分。听磁带时要仔细听，一个一个单词的听，能清楚的听到每一个单词组成的句子，如果有含糊不清的，不要只想着跳过，应该重复地听，直到听清为止。我们可以在老师上新课前提前预习，预习新课文并且听课文磁带，这样老师讲新课时，你就可以清楚的知道，每一个单词每个句子在哪里，在讲什么，听课效率肯定会提高很多，尤其对一些在英语方面不是很优秀同学来说，这是很有帮助。
其次就是听课了，上课时，一定要全身心的投入到课堂中， 老师讲的每个语法都要理解并且运用得当，练习是对一天学习的巩固，必须要认认真真写，不会写的不要抄，实在想不出来，就去问问同学，同学也不会，就去询问老师，千万不要只抄一个答案，这是没有任何意义。下次碰到一样题型的题还是一样不会做，所以一定要认真听讲，理解每一个语法，不仅要知道答案，要“知其然！知其所以然”。
总的来讲英语就靠背、听、练认真听课，理解语法，踏踏实实，一步一个脚印，英语其实并没有那么难。

很荣幸今天能站在这里跟大家交流一下英语学习经验。直接进入正题吧。现在既然大家坐在这里，说明大家还是对大学阶段的英语学习有一定规划的，至少是有一些想法要提高自己的英语水平吧。我去年这个时候，基本上什么都不知道，对英语怎么继续学习也比较茫然，不知道你们现在有没有这个感觉。
我是分在五班，班里的同学一般英语都很强。基础英语课还行，视听说说课曾让我郁闷了很长时间，几乎每次上听说就很紧张。因为我们高中课上比较沉默，不爱发言，正好跟听老师说课，然后我们就奋笔疾书。我的口语发音还行，就是感觉英式思维不是很敏捷，总担心对话时答不上来，脑子一片空白怎么办。班上很多同学课上表现非常积极，有时给我压力很大。但是，压力归根结底还是要化为动力嘛，大家还是要强迫自己积极举手，不要怕在课堂上因为说错而丢脸，在学习面前是不需要面子一言的，更何况英语关系我们的前途啊，一定要在课上多说英语，并且不懂要不耻下问，这是最关键的。
口语方面只有多联系对话才会提高。当自己跟着老师说或者与同学用英语对话时间久了以后就会自然而然产生语感，这对你的基础英语提升也是有很大帮助的。还有说道口语还有一点，现在我们的新标准英语是配了MP3格式音频文件，英语发音非常纯正，因为口语跟写完全不同，我们需要跟着正确的读音进行复制，而新标准英语的`这套MP3材料给我们提供了一个很好的平台，我们一定要每天跟着标准语音进行朗读，像我就会在背课文前先听1遍背诵段落之后熟悉了，再试着跟着MP3进行复制其语音的朗读，可能一开始跟不上他的口语速度，毕竟我们是中国人，发音与他们不同，所以我们可以在某些他读重音或者停顿或者是快速连读的地方做一些标记，再进行跟读，这样，多跟读几遍就会有显著效果，虽然不能完全模仿，但是你会明显体会到自己的口音开始改变，像标准的口语靠拢了。
俗话说，冰冻三尺非一日之寒，英语就很好的的印证了这句古话，只要我们勤加练习，一个学期应该就会有很大提高，政治上我们也说只有量的积累才有质的飞跃嘛!再说背课文，之前我们多次跟读对我们背课文也有很大帮助。当我们朗诵完5~6遍文章之后，我们对课文内容已经能比较熟悉了，此时我们取下耳机，进行一段一段地慢读，顾名思义，就是慢速阅读，因为之前口语速度过快，所以我们无法记住文章细节，因此我们需要慢读，放慢一些阅读速度，让我们大脑有充分记忆文章细节的反应并且记忆的时间，注意一定要是一段一段的慢读和背诵背诵，这样能记忆牢固，不易忘。我这些大概就是我的英语学习情况了。
最后我再提一些对英语学习的建议：第二，单词的积累。这是学习任何一门语言都是要做的基本功。因为英语单词的数量之多，掌握一定的方法和技巧来记单词是十分必要的。第一，要有一本够用的词典。词典是最好的老师。这里说的词典不是电子词典。了词典还要学会用词典和养成查词典的习惯。第六，注重口语和听力练习，养成背诵和广泛阅读的习惯。口语和听力是我们学习弱项。要解决它们，首先是要重视口语课和听力课;其次是在课后进行大量的口语和听力练习。第四，预习和复习。学习好外语预习和复习一个都不能少。通常需要我们认真预习的课程有精读课，泛读课，作文课。口语课也需要在上课前进行充分的准备。

四年前，我第一次接触到了英语，虽然那时我还对英语一窍不通，但不久之后我就对它产生了浓厚的兴趣。记得四年前的那次入学测试，我十分认真地跟老师进行模仿测试，并用英语从一数到十，当时被录取的那一刻，我高兴极了！怀着兴奋和好奇的心情，我走入了英语学习的殿堂。
如今，我已经在学校学习了四年英语，在老师的教导下，通过我自己的努力，我顺利地通过了全国公共英语等级考试一级。并总结了“多看、多记、多模仿”、“多听、多问、多复习”的.学习英语的基本要求。
“多看”是多看一些英语教材，培养语感，语感培养起来了，就能更加轻松地学习英语，就会减少出现“词认识，而句子翻译不出来”的问题。
“多记”是指多记英语单词、词组和表达方法，以提高自己的词汇量，更好的阅读英语文章。另外，词组和表达方式也很重要，英语的语言习惯和中文有大大不同，例如“there be”句型、“go to bed”表示去睡觉等基本的词组和表达方法一定要牢记。
英语不能只靠记单词，更要学会模仿。模仿语音、语调，能使你更好地记住这个句式，而且把握好语音、语调，也能让你说出的英语更地道，不显得那么生硬。
学习英语的另外一个要点是多听。只有多听才能做到多模仿，也许有一个没上过一天学的英国人要比一个学过多年英语的中国人说的好得多，那是因为作为一个英国人，他每时每刻都在听其他人说英语，他正是在这不停的听的模仿中学会的。既然我们没有如此好的语言环境，就要多听英语。
多提几个“为什么”也是学习英语的要点之一，当你在英语上有什么不懂的问题时，一定要学会问，问老师、问同学、问你身边任何可以给你解答的人。有时，老师的一句话能让你恍然大悟，甚至两个同等英语水平的人，总爱问问题的人就会比另一不爱问的人学习成绩好。所以学习英语要多问。
学习英语最后一点就是要多复习。温故而知新，英语也是一样，学过的单词或句式如果长时间内不复习就自然会忘掉，如果你能够坚持复习学习过的英语知识，就一定能更加牢记它们。

①多读
英语要学好，其实没有什么宝典秘笈，重要的是多读，光会做考试的巨人可不行，语言可是要学以致用的。在每天早晨，当你第一眼看到透过窗帘射进来的阳光时，不要在赖床了，起床读英语可是一件好事。早上地记忆力是最好的，读读英语课文，单词，还有助于深化印象。光会写单词可不行，要会读，看好音标，发音一定要准确。这样你学的英语才有用，语言时说出来的，可不是写在卷子上的。
②多听
说完了多读，多听也是一项不可缺少的项目。别真到了用上英语的时候，你自己侃侃而谈之后，别人说什么你想听天书一样，那也是没用，语言使用来交流的。
应该多听一些外国人说英语，开始的时候，能听清几个单词算几个，如果你们的学校有外教，那就更好了，在口语课上一定要尽量仔细听，这是提升你英语口语水平的好机会，也要多和外教交流。想在看电视时，加入看的是一部英国或美国电影，最好强迫自己不看字幕。尽量去听其中的`英语对话。另外，也可以试着听一些英文歌。
③多看
多看一些英文读物同样是一个提升英语水平的好办法。我在家里，母亲常给我买《书虫》以及其他的英文读物。这可是考验你平常的词汇与短语积累的机会，先阅读一遍，又不会的地方先更具上下文猜测一下意思，实在不行就看注释，那些生活常用的短语啊，单词啊，句型啊，一定要多做积累。当意思通顺，单词发音掌握后，就大声的读，训练自己流利的读下来。有些电影都是中英双字幕，可以在看电影时，不让自己看中文字幕，先看底下的英文字幕，能看出大概意思后就要和上面的中文字幕对照一下。英语也要灵活，这样中英对照多了后，你会发现，其实往往你为一个单词抓耳挠腮百思不得其解时，其实可能另一个单词换上后一切问题就都迎刃而解了，在英语中，一个单词其实可以代表其他相近的意思。

第一，做好课堂笔记。顾名思义，课堂笔记便是利用课堂时间将老师所讲的重点、难点、疑点记下，千万不可以“手懒”，对于知识零碎的英语来说更是如此，好记性不如烂笔头。然后是回顾笔记，回顾笔记才是做笔记的重点，建议大家，周末时专门抽出时间回顾一下当周所做的笔记，这样能有效地缓解紧张的心理，可以让你在下一周的学习中得心应手。举个我自己的例子吧，记得有一次英语抽测，我抱着侥幸的心理，没有做好复习工作，所以考试前就开始临时抱佛脚，结果到了最后，根本没有时间复习完，考试时慌慌张张，考得一塌糊涂。所以说，做好笔记对于学生来说十分重要。
第二，整理回顾错题，对于很多同学来说，都能做到整理错题，但重点是我们不仅仅要整理，更要回顾与反思。所谓“好马不吃回头草”对我们学生万万不可适用，要想成功挤过中考这座独木桥，就必须回顾自己的错题，也防止再出现类似的失误。再举个例子吧，我开始和很多同学一样只是纠一下错，之后就不管了，但是有一次考试，我真记得做过某一题，就是忘了怎么做，结果不仅没做出题，心情也糟糕透顶，考试结果可想而知惨不忍睹，后来我学着经常回顾错题本，慢慢地积累，厚积薄发，考试也不再出现类似的失误。
第三，要利用零碎的时间。英语是一门需要长期积累的科目，知识点很多，一定要好好利用互联网、学习机和其他移动方便的设备，更不用说书籍和杂志这样的传统学习资源！你完全可以在课间、排队、午休等时间记几个单词，要养成“天天英语”的习惯，每天按老师的要求作一篇完形阅读，坚持天天听英语。其实学英语的过程更像是一朵云的形成，是水汽的一点点积累；而不像砌一面墙那样，把砖堆上去就好。
